Sensitivity series

This series of acrylic paints on quilted canvas, captures intensely private moments in a woman’s life and particularly those times when she draws on her senses to remember how she felt at a particular moment in time. Perhaps when she felt the warmth of the sun on her face on a beautiful summer’s day, or how she saw herself in the mirror and felt beautiful in a special gown. When she contemplated her future or when she felt life growing inside her. This series of paintings is very tactile. Through the use of quilting stitches, a unique bas relief is created on each piece.
